It’s not easy to get on with your day when you haven’t had your morning coffee. Imagine being a school student who hasn’t even had breakfast..
We’ve recently had the pleasure of helping out an organisation who aims to cure both problems. Cereal for Coffee is a not-for-profit whose main operation is to feed hungry school children, through your love of coffee.
We’ve recently had the pleasure of helping out an organisation who aims to cure both problems. Cereal for Coffee is a not-for-profit whose main operation is to feed hungry school children, through your love of coffee.
Phil and Samara Sargeson started Cereal for Coffee after witnessing first-hand at schools, the amount of children who turn up hungry (1 in 3 according to their statistics). They decided to set up a system in which you, a coffee lover, can go to a participating cafe and donate a box of cereal, from which you will receive a free coffee in return! How great is that? You get to start your day with a coffee, and the cereal goes to local school breakfast clubs to be given to children who wouldn’t have otherwise had enough to eat for breakfast.
